Michael today
Michael’s work is grounded in a lifelong interest in how people understand themselves, meet pressure, and move forward.

The story
Michael was born in Denmark and moved to the United States at approximately thirteen with his mother and brother. A new language and culture brought early questions about identity, adaptation, and belonging.
In his twenties, a mentor encouraged him toward education and engineering. That path led to a career in high technology and, eventually, international work training, teaching, and motivating people.
The professional success mattered. So did a growing realization: the part of the work he found most meaningful was helping people understand obstacles, see possibility, and move toward personal and professional goals.
That recognition led Michael to become a Certified Life, Business & Mindset Coach.
External success · Internal experience
Michael’s experiences shaped his understanding of the space between what a person has accomplished and how that person experiences life from within: identity, belonging, pressure, purpose, confidence, and the complicated question of what comes next.
His work does not begin with the assumption that people are broken. It begins with curiosity about what they may not be seeing yet.
“I didn’t create Golf Up because I’m a golf instructor. I created it because I’m a golfer.”
Golf gave Michael another view of familiar human patterns. A golfer carries a bad shot forward. A professional carries a bad meeting forward. Both can lose trust, protect an outcome, or mentally leave the moment in front of them.
Golf Up became an accessible expression of a larger philosophy—not the limit of Michael’s work.
